"Since new, I've ridden the Reilly Gradient 5,500 miles, 2,222 were on the TCR - it was brutal!"

TCR, The Transcontinental Race, is the definitive self-supported bicycle race across Europe. A single stage race in which the clock never stops. Riders plan, research and navigate their own course and choose when and where to rest. They will take only what they can carry and consume only what they can find. Four mandatory control points guide their route and ensure a healthy amount of climbing to reach some of cycling’s most beautiful and historic monuments. Each year our riders cover around 4000km to reach the finish line.

Kris says "I renewed the cables before the race as a precaution, and fitted new pads, chain and cassette. I also swapped out the bottom bracket for a Hope with replaceable bearings. No issues on the ride (except 4 punctures.)

It now needs a 🤬 good clean, and a new chain, cassette and pads…understandably"

What a fantastic achievement. Congratulations Kris.
