Why Insure Your Bike?

We all care for our bikes and kit, but we can’t always avoid pesky potholes or opportunist thieves. Plus, not all home insurance policies will cover your bike away from home as standard.

That’s why we have partnered with Bikmo cycle insurance to offer 30 days FREE insurance on all new Reilly Titanium bikes, as well as an exclusive 5%* discount on their hassle-free policies.

30 Days FREE Insurance

Once you get hold of your new Reilly bike, you want to start riding worry-free, straight away.

Any new bike purchased from Reilly qualifies for 30 days FREE insurance from Bikmo, which covers your bike for accidental damage and theft only. The cover does not renew automatically, and no payment details are required.

You must activate your free cover within 7 days of delivery or collection of your new bike. Your 30 days cover starts once you activate your insurance.

Why Cycle Insurance?

It’s worth checking your home insurance policy, as it may not provide the cover you require.

  • Maximum value - The maximum insured bike value can be as low as £500.
  • Away from home - There’s also often an “Abandonment” clause that classes bikes as “Abandoned” after only a few hours cycling away from home.
  • Premiums increasing - Your premium will usually increase when making a claim.
  • Excess costs - Home insurance excesses can mean it’s not worth claiming for your losses.
  • Personal accident cover - Is usually not included.

With a comprehensive cycle insurance policy from Bikmo, you can rest assured they have your back.

How do I lock my bike correctly?

To meet Bikmo’s locking requirements by locking your bike securely and correctly, you must lock your bike:

  • Using a Sold Secure approved lock - appropriate to the value of your bike.
  • Through the frame - either through the gap above the bottom bracket or through the top part of the chainset protection wheel mount.
  • To an immovable object - a fixed solid object, such as a cycle stand
