We are looking to recruit a Cytech 3 qualified Senior Bicycle Mechanic
Reilly is a small independent brand offering bespoke titanium bike builds. Based near Biggin Hill, Kent.
Your role will include component purchasing for high end builds and monitoring workflow to ensure orders are completed on time and to a high spec. You will also be required to build complete bikes and prep framesets as per customer orders.
Duties include
Ordering components for each build as per a detailed order spec
Juggling several orders at any one time and being meticulous in each step of the buying and building process
Assigning work to our existing bicycle mechanic and ensuring that his work is completed to a high standard
Build complete bikes
Prep framesets
Assist in the maintenance of the demo fleet - clean and check/service bikes pre/post demos
Attend trade shows and demo days, which may involve occasional evening/weekend work. TOIL givenÂ
Work with our in-house designer regarding frame designÂ
Decal frames

Cytec 3 qualified mechanicÂ
Comprehensive knowledge of current bicycle components, technologies, and industry trends in particular associate with high-end builds
Attention to detail is essentialÂ
Must have experience of electronic groupsets and hydraulic braking systems
Computer literate
Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team, but with the initiative to get things done off your own back
Anodising experience and knowledge of bike fit data are preferred skills but not essential
Job details
Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30 – may be required to work Saturdays with TOIL given
Based at Reilly Workshop (TN16 3AG)
25 days holiday - mandatory holiday between Christmas and New Year (usually 3 days)
Salary subject to experience, between £28k - £32k
