Reilly were extremely pleased to showcase a fully custom titanium gravel bike with POC at Rouleur 2025.
A Bike Fit for Royalty
The golden titanium Reflex is a collaboration with POC specifically for Rouleur 25. With that in mind we made a golden Reflex Gravel Bike perfect to show off their new range of bike packing bags. Then the magicians at Scribe produced a custom set of golden decals to use on their set of Carbon Gravel wheels. The carbon wheels matched up superbly with our ever-popular Reflex Frameset, so we also decided to fit the brand new Campagnolo Super Record X 13-Speed Wireless Groupset too. The full spec of the bike has been provided at the end of the article for all the bike nerds out there, so keep reading to find out!
Anodising A Titanium Bike - Behind The Process
The frame had been carefully and strategically anodized by our in-house specialist mechanic, Adam Morley. “It was a great moment to see the bike up on the stand” said Adam. The bike took around two full days to get the colour just right, then another day of polishing and buffing it out to really make it pop for the display. Adam said that “the golden anodised finish is achieved by applying a voltage to the bike frame and then carefully applying an electrolyte solution by hand. Controlling the voltage allows for different colours to be applied to the frame, which changes the way light reflects and refracts off the frame, causing the change in colour”. Custom Features Added to the Build
The bike was also fully loaded with some upcoming bike frame bags from POC which provided a stark contrast to the golden frame. It’s not often you see white bike bags in the wild, and they ended up complimenting the gold frame rather nicely. It was a real head turner! The POC logo was also added to the bike to reinforce the collaboration, utilising a “negative space” design - another hallmark of Adam’s expertise.
The new bike bags from POC are an upcoming product release which is set to redefine the way we think about frame bags. The first thing is that this particular colourway is in bright white - a stark contrast from the standard issue bags offered by so many other brands. Some other notable features of the bags include an innovative weatherproof outer shell so your belongings stay dry and functional no matter the weather and terrain, high quality and easy to use zippers which can be accessed easily whilst riding the bike and durable velcro straps. The bike is certainly a head turner and was named as an honourable mention by CADE Media on YouTube for "Blingiest Paint Job", which we think is thoroughly deserved! Quick Look: Campagnolo’s New Super Record X Gravel Groupset
We chose to add Campagnolo new Super Record X 13-Speed Wireless groupsets to use on the Golden Reflex. Super Record X is Campagnolo’s first ever wireless 1x gravel groupset platform, purpose-built for reliable, precise shifting even in the roughest terrains. Based on the Super Record platform, it retains existing core technologies while introducing new features engineered specifically for the demands of gravel riding. We think that Super Record X is beautifully designed and looks absolutely stunning on the bike - no shocks there.
The Reflex – A Standout Titanium Gravel Bike
The Reflex is one of our most popular Titanium Gravel Bikes so it’s no surprise that POC asked to use one at Rouleur Live. Some of the key characteristics of the Reflex are an investment cast aero frame design made from 6AL - 4V with 3AL - 2.5V grade titanium, support for super wide tyres of up to 55mm (700c) and fully integrated cable routing.
