Reilly Rides Out : Bringhing Gravel Riders Together

Reilly Rides Out was back on Saturday 31st January with a brilliant 30km gravel loop that showcased exactly why gravel riding is so exciting.

Reilly Rides Out was established to create a community of local riders and let people try different bikes .  On Saturda a number of riders were trying gravel bikes for the first time.

For those trying our a Reilly the morning started witha quick bike fit.  With the do-it-all Gradient and gravel race bike Reflex up to try,

After much coffee drinking and a pre-ride briefing ringing in everyone’s ears: watch out for the mud, especially on the descents, it was time to go.

Considering the amount of rain we have had recently, conditions were kind – cold but dryish. Yet again our route planner Richard had created a fantastic ride - the perfect intro to gravel. It delivered a mix of terrain, with muddy sections keeping things interesting and fast gravel descents letting the bikes shine.

The first riders were back by around 11:30am, all smiles despite being caked in mud. Feedback from those new to gravel riders was overwhelmingly positive, with plenty of love for how capable and confidence-inspiring the Reilly bikes felt.

More coffee and cake while Reilly staff Neil and James worked hard to get every bike cleaned and sparkling . Muddy riders with spotless bikes, that's another successful Reilly Rides Out!
